Type Noble Oils were specially developed for use before or during filtration and replace late hop additions in the brewhouse. The result is a "late hop aroma" that combines floral, spicy and citrus notes. Products of the Noble family have a high to very high content of linalool. Bitter substances are not contained.
Type Noble is produced from hop extracts by fractionation and is used to replace late hops in the brewhouse. The creates a "late hop aroma" in beer, is enriched with linalool and contains only a small amount of highly volatile components. With its citrusy and floral notes, the oil is often used in bottom-fermented beers.
